The annual Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference (IYECon) is an all day conference which aims to empower all youths and their families, regardless of their immigration status, by providing access to concrete resources and tools to organize within their communities.

We will bring together hundreds of youth, family members, and educators to meet with high school and college students, community organizers, lawyers, and professional development leaders. IYECon will include workshops for undocumented youth, about the college process as well as creative ways to organize in one’s own community within academic spaces and on the street.

Our conference will be held on May 20th (Sat) at Carmen Hall in Lehman College.
From 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Breakfast and lunch will be provided, more details are still being finalized as we speak.
