Undocu Academy helped me!

unnamed.png

I'm Paula and I was part of the Undocu Academy.
The Academy helped me figure out what comes next after graduating from High School. We figured out college applications, scholarships, while connecting to other undocumented seniors. I shared more about my experience here.

If you are an undocumented NYC High School Junior or Senior looking for support through all those hard decisions you should apply and join the Academy.

Reposted from QTIE:

QTIE: Queer, Trans, and Intersex Educators is thrilled to announce our 14th annual conference, More Than Me: Moving Beyond Tolerance. Workshops will welcome elementary, middle, and high school youth as well as the educators, parents and caretakers bringing them.

Starting with a presentation session leading into two workshop sessions, we are grateful to the many incredible organizations facilitating, including PFLAG, the Ackerman Institute's Gender and Family Project, Hollaback!, DESI Rainbow Parents and Allies, the LGBTQ Network, the NYS Youth Leadership Council, Hetrick Martin Institute, and more. We'll close our conference with an open performance space for youth to shine and be celebrated. The online conference takes place on June 4th at 4:00pm.

Register by May 30th using this link
